In fact, you will gain with these amazing speakers. As well, the new subwoofer helps to produce music you not only hear but FEEL!  This does not always mean louder music, just BETTER music.  Most DJs will try to cut corners and use only two speakers for larger venues.  This increases the volume level and distortion.
